Rihanna has added to her extensive body art collection with a new tattoo above her ankle.

The ink was done by New York City tattoo artist, Bang Bang, who has done many of Rihanna’s more than 20 tattoos.
Once the cat was out of the bag, RiRi also shared the image with her 24.3 million followers on Instagram. She accentuated her curvaceous figure in body hugging pants for added sex appeal. We’re not sure if that means it’s painful or it’s a killer looking tatt, we’ll go with the latter because we’re cool (ish).
Forgoing the typical tribal design, the pop star stamped her birth year, 1988, just above her right foot and accessorized with a few delicate bracelets. On both outings, the BBHMM rock star showed-off her new 1988 ankle tattoo, which she’d gotten done the night before.

RiRi is a known fan of Bang Bang work, having previously used them to design the controversial gun tattoo below her right armpit – and now she’s revealed her latest inking. E! News reported that the process took 11 hours!
