Rihanna Is Returning To The Big Screen
Since Rihanna is not going to be one of the two main protagonists, I’m curious to see what role she’ll be playing.

The big screen is nothing new for Rihanna as she has also starred in 2012’s “Battleship” and given her voice to 2015’s animated flick “Home”.
Although it’s unknown what role the Loud creator will play in the upcoming movie, the director, Luc Besson, is certainly ecstatic about it – and promises she’ll have a large role.
The 27-year-old Barbadian beauty joins a star-studded cast that includes Clive Owen and Dane DeHaan, as well as British supermodel-turned-actress Cara Delevingne.
While Rihanna’s part in the film is unclear, it just gives us another thing to speculate and obsess over while we wonder what the badass Barbadian decides to do next. Besson has been behind such popular films as “Lucy” and “The Professional”, the director confirmed the news on his official Instagram account earlier today. He and his partner Laureline who travel together through time and space and essentially kick a few serious butt in order to insure that the earth is kept safe from rogue time travelling threats. Something to make up for the MONTHS of build up for her new album, for which we are still longingly awaiting. She is looking like a fiery badass.
Rooted in the classic graphic novel series, Valerian and Laureline- visionary writer/director Luc Besson advances this iconic source material into a contemporary, unique and epic science fiction saga.
Filming is set to start in France in January but the movie isn’t expected to hit cinemas till 21 July 2017.
