Rihanna Releases ‘Anti’; Where Can You Listen To ‘Work’ Singer’s New Album?

Rihanna got fans all excited by releasing her brand new single “Work” on January 27, and it’s reported that her new album “Anti” won’t be far behind. Now, the numbers are in, and simply put, they are massive.

Rihanna, who has been silent on social media, tweeted the link to the track, which was released on Tidal, before making its way to iTunes.

After a pain-staking drag of a four year wait, the new Rihanna album is finally here!

The streaming service also made a limited number of complementary download codes available to both new and existing Tidal customers, as part of a 60-day free trial of the app. She released new LPs – Rated R, Loud, Talk That Talk, and Unapologetic, respectively – supported by a handful of massive singles every year between 2009 and 2012. On Friday, a deluxe edition of the album will be released, which will feature three bonus tracks.

The anticipation started to grow back in October when Rihanna released the cover art for the album on Twitter. Since debuting on Tidal around 9:45 p.m. ET, the album has been streamed over 13 million times in 14 hours, Tidal confirmed to EW.

Many expected the album to come out in 2015, as she released popular singles “BBHMM”, “American Oxygen”, and the Kanye West and Paul McCartney-featured “FourFiveSeconds”.

Furthermore, the press released stated that the rate at which the album was downloaded has “exceeded expectations”. Considering Rih’s great friends with Jay Z, it’s not surprising that she chose to premiere the song on Tidal, so don’t be surprised if the album comes via the exclusive streaming site, too.

Rihanna has already announced a world tour to promote Anti, which will begin on February 26 in San Diego. The tour will also feature Travis Scott and The Weekend.
