Rihanna releases new album, ‘ANTI,’ for free for 1 day
Being the workhorse she is, “ANTI” is album number eight for Ri-Ri and she is projected to kill it in the streaming and radio play numbers. Those new subscribers are all 60 day trial subscribers, and none of them had to enter their credit card information when they signed up, so they won’t be automatically converted into paying customers. The R&B songbird didn’t take the traditional approach with her project by releasing it to retail first. Tame Impala gets tagged a “rock band, ‘ but much of their recent music – particularly the song Rihanna covered – slinks along with a funky, hypnotic groove”.

Rihanna’s collaboration with Florence Welch has been released on the deluxe version of “ANTI”.
“It’s actually telling someone, ‘I know what you think I’m doing is fake, ‘” Parker told Stereogum in July of the track.
Rihanna’s 13-track album ANTi was released online for free via streaming service Tidal on Thursday (January 28th). In conjunction with her partnership with Samsung, the technology company purchased 1 million copies of the album and gave them away for free.
The album includes new single Work featuring Drake, which was well received when it was launched on Wednesday.
None of Rihanna’s recent singles – such as Bitch Better Have My Money – are on Anti; the established creatives (Calvin Harris, Stargate et al) are conspicuous by their absence.
She called the “trippy and introspective” Same Ol’ Mistakes “not only a good cover, but also a standout song on the album”.

The song ends with Rihanna and Scott singing together but with a sense of complete independence: ‘I don’t even really love you / I don’t even really care about you’.
