Rio 2016 Paralympics | Nigeria at 9th position as gold medals pour in
Nigeria’s Ndidi Nwosu has won the country’s 5th gold in the women’s -73kg in the powerlifting event at the ongoing Rio 2016 Paralympics.

Onye first throw of 7.83m had erased her own world record of 7.72m set at the 2015 IPC world athletics championships in Doha but the Nigerian went further to set the best record in the history of the event. China’s Yan Yang won the Bronze medal with a distant 128kg.
