Rio cancels cycling test event; venue to be ready for games
Brazil’s economic and political crisis has relegated Rio de Janeiro’s Olympic preparations to an afterthought.

The Olympic track cycling competition takes place from 11-16 August 2016 and is followed by the Paralympic competition from 8-11 September. “There is no concern, though, about games moving ahead and delivering whatever needs to be delivered for the games”.
