Brown’s preparations for the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games finish in the host nation following more competitive swimming in the Western Hemisphere. Organizers remain confident they will sell out all of the remaining tickets in the final 78 days until the Olympic Games.

The International Olympic Committee announced that about 450,000 condoms will be distributed during the Rio de Janeiro Olympics, three times more than for the London Games four years ago.
According to the organising committee, out of the total six million tickets available, nearly 67 percent have already been sold and another two million are still available and can be bought through the Rio 2016 website or through ticket booths that will be open from June.
Ferretti says sales are going well, though others have characterized ticket sales for South America’s first games as sluggish, with the country mired in its worst recession since the 1930s. Selling tickets above face value in Brazil was illegal. We’ve sold more than expected at this point.
He also said sales outside Brazil were on track although he could not give specific numbers.
Originally, Rio 2016 said that 7.6 million Olympic tickets will be sold, but Ferreti could not comment on what the final number would be.

“The request for external forces is so that the police can go about their task of taking care of (law enforcement around) the city”, Beltrame said on Thursday.
