Rise of the Tomb Raider gets DLC Season Pass

While the single-player campaign of the game is its primary highlight, “Rise of the Tomb Raider” allows the opportunity to extend this experience with “Expedition Cards”. Those that want more combat in their lives won’t be left wanting, though; Cold Darkness Awakened is primed to have Lara Croft take on waves of what’s been touted as “infected predators”, while an Endurance Mode will be added so that players can test their survival skills in a few harsh conditions. “Cards can be used in all extra gameplay modes” is what you can read as a description of the so called Gold Pack. Chaining these three things together is important to keep a high score multiplier in order to achieve the best score possible.

Chapter Replay: Play earlier chapters of the story and complete challenges to earn credits.

In addition, look out for Expedition Cards.

Cards will come in two types: Foil, which provides the “strongest or strangest” effects and have unlimited uses, and the less powerful Common, which can be used only once.

There is also the Deluxe edition which will include the game, the Remnant Resistance Pack, and the Season Pass which basically covers future content that is planned for release. Remnant Resistance mode lets you replay Hub spaces with a new set of goals. These cards can be used in all modes (it should be noted there is no multiplayer in Rise of the Tomb Raider) and don’t yet have a price point. Just recently we posted new gameplay footage for Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Big Head Mode – and other modifiers, such as bonus damage to animals, or setting enemies on fire with melee attacks – occurs outside the single-player campaign by way of Expedition Cards.

In Rise of the Tomb Raider, you’ll earn credits by completing challenges and exploring the world. In the original Tomb Raider games it was literally all about raiding tombs.

300 cards will be available when the game launches on 10th November and more will be added over the following four months.
