The DLC will have a story mode where Lara must search Croft Manor for clues on her being the rightful heir to the estate, as well as a Lara’s Nightmare mode where she must battle zombies.

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Rise Of The Tomb Raider – this time showing off the Blood Ties and Lara’s Nightmare DLC.
Rise of the Tomb Raider’s upcoming “Blood Ties” DLC boasts an additional hour of storyline content that takes place in Lara’s childhood home, Croft Manor.
Chris Johnson, Associate Brand Manager at Square Enix shared on Xbox Wire that “we think this content is the flawless way to celebrate 20 years of the iconic Lara Croft, and hope you do as well”. You’ll get to explore the manor and uncover a few secrets along the way. They have also added the new “Extreme Survivor” difficulty setting, a 20 Year Celebration outfit and weapon, the ability to play as classic Lara models in the Expedition modes, and more. All of the content coming on October 11 will be added to the Season Pass for Rise of the Tomb Raider, and anyone that already purchased the pass will receive everything for free.
