The Risener Fire 2015 is now burning the hills near La Habra and Fullerton.

A fast-moving wildfire erupted in Southern California late Tuesday afternoon, forcing evacuations for the Fullerton-La Habra area. Police were going door to door, ordering people out.
The area rests near dense housing developments and is comprised of dirt trails winding through chaparral and grass.
“As I’m looking at it I’m thinking our house is maybe 20 feet away from the flames”, Dina Tsuyuki, who evacuated her Fullerton home along with her 13-year-old twin daughters, told KABC-TV.
Helicopters with the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the OCFA, as well as two Los Angeles County Fire “super scooper” planes, assisted crews on the ground by dropping water on the blaze, Concialdi said.
Kunze says hot spots and some flames are still showing, and firefighters will be working on the blaze near the border of Orange and Los Angeles counties through the night.
The Fullerton Fire Department received a call about the fire at about 4:00 p.m. Shortly after, fire officials said the blaze had spread to 2-3 acres. “If they don’t get a hold of this, our whole neighborhood could be gone”. The fire was reported near Idaho Street and Risner Way.
In La Habra, voluntary evacuation orders were issued for residents of about 40 homes in West St. Andrews Avenue and West Riviera and South La Costa courts, said Robert Ferrier, assistant to the La Habra city manager.

No homes are now threatened.
