Rivals Try Again To Take Down Trump In GOP Debate
Ahead of the debate, former presidential candidate Mitt Romney, who lost to Barack Obama in 2012, attacked Trump, calling him an unelectable “fraud” and a “phony”, whose nomination would ensure victory for Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton in the November 8 election.

The 11th republican presidential debate will be available on multiple platforms.
Republican presidential candidates, Sen. Marco Rubio – can turn the direction of the race in the next two weeks. Voters in Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana and ME are the next vote, with primaries on Saturday. On Tuesday, Mississippi and MI follow. Trump’s “flexibility” allows him to fight his primary opponents while courting general election voters at the same time.
Meanwhile, Kasich is banking on a strong showing in MI and his home state of OH on March 15th to boost him.
“I could have said, ‘Mitt, drop to your knees, ‘ and he would have”, Trump declared. “His domestic policies would lead to recession”. He has neither the temperament nor the judgment to be president.
Trump responded in his typical style, by mocking Romney as a loser who was “begging” for his endorsement four years ago.
In another exchange, Rubio faulted Trump’s businesses for manufacturing clothing in China and Mexico rather than the U.S. Asked when he would start making more clothes in the U.S., Trump said that would happen when currency valuations weren’t biased against manufacturing garments in America.
It was perhaps the most surreal moment in a presidential race that has already been dominated by unprecedented drama and personal attacks.
Trump on the torture debate and what he’d do: “Can you imagine these people, these animals over in the Middle East that chop off heads, sitting around talking and seeing that we’re having a hard problem with waterboarding?” Trump, who dismissed Kelly then as a “lightweight” and a “bimbo”, ended up boycotting a subsequent Fox debate, claiming the network was unfair.
Mr Trump, presented with videotaped evidence from Fox News moderators that he had shifted positions on the Iraq war, immigration and whether to admit refugees from the Syrian civil war, shrugged.

He made no boycott threats ahead of Thursday night’s session. Could Marco Rubio continue his newfound momentum and continue his attacks against Trump? Kasich at one point viewed the state as a must-win; lately he has suggested the true test is carrying Ohio. With just four candidates, it was the fewest number of GOP candidates on the debate stage during this campaign.
