RNC Chair: Trump Is ‘Going To Get This Thing Back On Track’

Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager cautioned against reading too much into the departure of Donald Trump’s campaign chair Paul Manafort, suggesting today that Russian Federation is still at the “core” of the Republican nominee’s campaign and that Trump himself could be a “puppet” for the Kremlin.

Of the Saturday meeting, Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, an immigration hawk, said, “He listened to a lot people, I don’t think he made any commitments”. The campaign paid about $2 million for private jets other than Trump’s own TAG Air, which also collected $500,000.

Trump trails Clinton by healthy margins in the swing states of Colorado, Pennsylvania and North Carolina, and a CBS poll released on Sunday showed him down six points in OH as well.

The GOP candidate recently proposed to the National Republican Committee opening campaign offices in all 50 states, seemingly a politically absurd idea given the fact that – to have any chance of victory – he must concentrate his resources in the states that may tilt the electoral balance in his favor, such as Florida, where the mogul only now has begun to equip several operations centers.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says the party of Lincoln must improve its efforts to bring black voters back to the fold and that he wants an inclusive GOP.

But the hiring of Bannon – a longtime RNC critic known for no-holds-barred criticism of the party elite – had raised eyebrows and concerns over his relationship with the party organization.

In addition to the $650 million liabilities, “a substantial portion of his wealth is tied up in three passive partnerships that owe an additional $2 billion to a string of lenders”, the Times said about debt that could significantly affect Trump’s wealth.

“We are committed to winning back the White House and maintaining our majorities in the House and Senate”, Spicer said of his role.

Trump has long struggled to gain support within the African American community. Trump and his aides have also been unclear on whether he still wants to temporarily bar most foreign Muslims from entering the country.

Despite Trump’s dire position in national polls, Reince Priebus, the RNC chairman, insisted that Trump would catch up to Clinton “as we move through September”.

“We had a great week, the best week so far”, she said, citing the airing of Trump’s first TV ads, his appearance in flood-ravaged Louisiana, and his attempts to reach out to black and Latino voters.

“There are real questions being raised about whether Donald Trump himself is just a puppet for the Kremlin in this race”, Mook said.

She said that the campaign would work more closely with RNC officials and try to expand the map of competitive swing states from seven or eight to 10 or 11. Still, Trump continued to rail against the impact of illegal immigration, claiming that an influx to the state of Virginia was putting “enormous pressure” on local schools and public services.

Despite doubling its spending, the Trump campaign still only spent about half of what the Clinton campaign spent in the same month. Some 41 percent supported Clinton and 34 percent supported Trump.
