RNC Rules Committee Meeting Gets Heated

Tim Tebow would like you to know that he’s not speaking in support of Donald Trump at the Republican National Convention. Former Ted Cruz delegate director Ken Cuccinelli pushed a series of rules changes aimed at weakening the RNC and closing primaries and caucuses in 2020 from non-Republicans.

By the end of next week, delegates will officially decide if Donald Trump will be on the presidential ticket in November.

Although at this point, we have no idea who we’ll actually be seeing in Cleveland. “We’re here to be good team players”.

Sessions, R-Ala., is a delegate, chairman of the delegation and a Trump adviser.

“I wake up this morning to find out I’m speaking at the Republican National Convention”.

“There’s very tight security at these Conventions”. And they recognize that Donald Trump beat 16 other candidates in a record turnout, he won with a record number of votes, and that denying Donald Trump the nomination through some backroom deal would destroy the Republican Party.

As for us? Well, Elite Daily will be attending the Republican National Convention next week, as well as the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia the week after.

“People like me are getting involved because I want law and order to stand on the truth”, she said. He served as a delegate in 1996, 2008 and 2012.

“I think that we would love to have him, don’t get me wrong”, Spicer said during a live broadcast. “They lost with the system they put in place, so they can’t complain about that”.

“As a master entertainer, Trump knows that he’ll have to be much more direct with his messaging and needs to tighten up his delivery when the convention begins”. “What does it say about our democracy that we have this process, and then not support the results because we don’t like the victor?”

“I think we’re going to see more of the man”, he said.

Even if given the chance to dump Trump in favor of someone else, some Missouri delegates said they wouldn’t do so. “I hope Cleveland is ready”.

Several big Republican names are notably missing.

Bush, originally a favorite to win the GOP’s presidential primary, dropped out of the race in February. “There are 2,000 delegates and there are a little under 2,000 alternate delegates”. Brooks’ father passed away recently.

John Ryder, the party’s general counsel, set the tone early in the week, telling delegates the law binds them to the candidates their voters and state parties selected. Cam Ward of Alabaster.

Ward is not a fan of Trump, but neither does he endorse efforts to rewrite convention rules and try to replace Trump as the nominee. He added: “One way or the other, what I would like to do is persuade enough people not to vote for Trump”.

Delegates were reluctant to go against voters.

Unruh had previously said she would get the signatures of 28 rules committee members that are required to force a convention vote on her plan.
