And while those polls say Clinton overall got 56 percent of the nonwhite vote, those polls also suggest Sanders had a strong showing among Latinos, at 53 percent to Clinton’s 45 percent, according to those polls.

“I think when the African-American community understands my record on criminal justice, my record on economics and the agenda we’re bringing forth, raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour, dealing with the fact that we have more people in jail, shamefully, than any other country on earth, that I am against the death penalty, Secretary Clinton is not”, Sanders said. “Five weeks ago we were 25 points behind, and we ended up in a very close election”.

This time, the African-American vote is expected to be a big advantage for Clinton. “So I thought I’d come out here and show her that I’m fighting for her too.” said one supporter as she held up boxing gloves. Bernie Sanders, who has now lost two of the first three contested states.
The Democrats will primary in SC next week. Polling shows minority voters, a crucial bloc of the Democratic electorate, heavily favoring Clinton.
“I’ve seen Hillary do things for the Mexicans, I’ve seen her do things for the blacks, the whites, all of them”, said Moore, who is black.
The longer Sanders sticks around, the longer this caustic dissatisfaction for Clinton is laid bare.
