A pensioner who was fatally injured in a suspected road rage attack suffered “multiple stab wounds” when he was attacked by another motorist, police said.

A man has been charged with the murder Don Lock, who was stabbed after a vehicle crash in West Sussex.
Mr Lock, who had been married to Maureen for 55 years, was a veteran member of the Worthing Excelsior Cycling Club and was looking forward to becoming a great-grandfather for the sixth time.
The Brighton and Hove Albion season ticket holder had cycled up to 150 miles a week, relatives said.
His son raised a warm chuckle from his family as he recounted his father’s adventurous streak – travelling around the world and even riding ostriches.
“We will be working hard to support mum Maureen through the unenviable grieving process and just remember dad for the fantastic person he was”.
“Don leaves son Andy, daughter Sandra, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren with the sixth great- grandchild due later this year”.
It is thought that Daley, who lives in a housing association block of flats in Worthing, has worked as a gardener at the Worthing Golf Club, where membership fees are £1,230 per year.
The 34-year-old man, from Worthing, is being questioned on suspicion of murder after he was arrested by armed officers some 18 hours later.
A post mortem has confirmed Mr Lock died as a result of stab wounds.
“He was a key member, in fact a bedrock of our club for many, many years”.
This afternoon, his devastated family has released a statement following the tragedy.
The incident took place on the A24 in Sussex and a spokesman for the county’s police force confirmed they are looking into the incident.
Detective chief inspector Karen Mizzi, of the Surrey and Sussex major crime team, said: “Officers have been urgently making inquiries to trace the suspect. It’s such a quiet little village and so unusual for something like this to happen”.
Another resident, who declined to be named, said: “It’s horrendous”.
The suspect, who was driving a pale-coloured “old-style” vehicle, described in some reports as a classic auto, is described as white and aged between 30 and 40.
The victim, whose identity has not been revealed, died at the scene. I can’t understand how it happened.
