Rob Lowe’s Comedy Central Roast Turned into a Roast of Ann Coulter

If you had told me you’d be at Rob Lowe’s Comedy Central roast – which airs Labor Day – doing Tom Brady jokes, I would have helped you out free of charge.

Rob Lowe was supposed to be the target of the most recent Comedy Central roast, but Ann Coulter emerged as the star of the show.

“Ann, you’re terrible”, comedienne Nikki Glaser said point blank. Naturally Manning said yes.

Nikki Glaser: “Ann Coulter has written 11 books, 12 if you count Mein Kampf”.

“As a feminist, I can’t support everything that’s been said tonight”, said Jewel. “I haven’t seen her laugh this hard since Trayvon Martin got shot”. At least on Politically Incorrect, there would be just one has-been or wanna-be on the panel.

“I wish he had just rephrased it differently, and not used the word “softening”, she added. “My whole career has been an Ann Coulter roast”. Thrown into the mix was Coulter, who was there mainly to promote her new book In Trump We Trust.

“Ann describes herself as a polemicist but most people call her a c–” said Pete Davidson of Saturday Night Live, before muttering “a racist c–” under his breath. He also joked (but is this a joke?), “It’s not too late to change, Ann”.

Then Coulter took the stage and for her entire 7-minute set the crowd booed.

For Coulter’s part, she made her motives clear. “‘If I can’t get a husband they shouldn’t, either?'”

It’s no secret that Lowe is a handsome man – especially not to Spade, 52, who joked, “Rob’s secret for his face looking so good?” You could kill yourself!’

If you remember back in 2012 when Peyton Manning was dealing with a serious neck injury and trying to come back from it, actor Rob Lowe – supposedly a friend of Jim Irsay’s – tweeted that Manning would retire. This is the National Football League, you’re here to hit.
