An argument could be made that Marvel wouldn’t spoil a cameo as significant as this with a behind the scenes set photo, and it’s entirely plausible that Holland (as one of the newest additions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe) might have been asked tour the movie’s set. Their first team-up was on 1965 for Amazing Spider-Man Annual #2, the Sorcerer Supreme had its share of adventures with Spidey during J. Michael Stranczynski’s writing time with The Amazing Spider-Man, also the Doctor Strange has been making guest appearances on the mid 90’s Spider-Man: The Animated Series and the most recent Ultimate Spider-Man.

The interaction between the two characters in the comics is always a treat to watch, as Strange’s reserved, stiff-upper-lip nature often clashes with the wall crawler’s lack of filter and sense of humour.
The upcoming Marvel film Doctor Strange has unveiled an all new screenwriter.
No doubt it is a very intriguing post from Marvel Studios and certainly they have considered this team-up.
Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch will be playing the role of Doctor Stephen Strange and Chiwetel Ejiofor will play Baron Mordo.
The photo features the young actor posing side by side with Louis D’Esposito and director Scott Derrickson.
Doctor Strange will be part of Marvel’s Phase Three which will commence with Captain America: Civil War.

Another Spider-Man movie is rumored to be released in 2017. The film, which opens in US theaters on November 4, 2016, is directed by Scott Derrickson (“Sinister”, “The Exorcism of Emily Rose”). With the photo teasing Sanctum Sanctorum, along with the visual effects applied on it, it is assumed that fans’ expectations with the “Doctor Strange’s” magical approach would be met.
