The planned development is right in the heart of Covent Garden.

The Wellington Hotel will be situated across six buildings across the corner of Wellington Street and Tavistock Street and will include a restaurant, a spa and a private members club.
Robert De Niro and BD Hotels are moving forward with plans for their 83-room Wellington Hotel in London after receiving approval from the Westminster Council.
It will be the renowned actor’s third hotel after his transition into hospitality saw him open a complex in NY and one in the Philippines.
In May, he commented on applying for planning permission in the United Kingdom, saying: “London is one of the most exciting and cosmopolitan cities in the world”. In 2008, he opened the vastly popular, luxury Greenwich hotel, which now plays host to the Tribeca film festival.
His Nobu hotel in Manila, Philippines, however, was branded one of the worst luxury hotels of 2015. Luxury Travel Intelligence said there were “some questionable developments and overexpansion”.
‘The design is of the highest quality and it fits the bill as a Covent Garden building that meshes the new with the old.
Its chief executive, Jonathan Sands, said: “The association with one of the most famous actors in the world will also add interest to the film and theatre offering, helping to ensure Covent Garden remains on the to do list of every visitor to our capital”.
Investing in the hospitality business is a popular venture for Hollywood actors.
De Niro is by no means the only Hollywood star to take on the role of hotelier – Clint Eastwood, Richard Gere and Elizabeth Taylor have all made forays into the business – and Leonardo DiCaprio is set to open an eco-friendly resort in Belize in 2018.

They are not always a success, however.
