Robert De Niro on Donald Trump: ‘He’s totally nuts’
Robert De Niro is at a Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina film festival to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of Taxi Driver, but not even De Niro could escape the question being asked of almost every American overseas right now: What the hell is up with this Donald Trump guy?

Sarajevo’s film festival was founded in 1995 during the Bosnian war, after almost four years under siege.
Robert Anthony De Niro is an American who has starred in over 100 films.

Last April, De Niro endorsed Hillary Clinton’s White House bid, calling the former secretary of state “smart” and acknowledging that “she’s a woman, which is very important”.
Trump has blamed USA news media of taking many his comments out of context.
This is not the first time that De Niro has spoken out against Trump on a public stage.

During a question-and-answer session at the Sarajevo Film Festival on Friday, Robert De Niro had some harsh words for Donald Trump.
Robert De Niro has compared Donald Trump to his character Travis Bickle from “Taxi Driver“.
De Niro’s Trump comments came within days of those of Killing Reagan star Tim Matheson, who says the 40th president and Republican icon would not have been a fan of the GOP’s current presidential candidate.
