Robert Dear vandalized Planned Parenthood clinic decades ago in SC

Planned Parenthood operates 23 health clinics in Colorado, including one stormed by a gunman in Colorado Springs last Friday in a five-hour siege in which three people were killed and nine were wounded.

U.S. Attorney John Walsh says officials could also pursue federal charges in addition to charges brought by the state.

The shooting was the second in weeks in Colorado Springs to leave several victims.

A spokeswoman for the Florida Alliance of Planned Parenthood Affiliates declined comment, writing in an email that “our staff is focusing on the health and safety of our patients today”.

A conservative columnist isn’t surprised that the Left has used the Planned Parenthood shooting in Colorado as a way to advance its agenda on two fronts.

“We’ve been here for nearly 100 years, and we’ll continue to be here – no matter what”, Ms. Cavalier said.

Whatever authorities decide is sure to be controversial, given the political murkiness of Dear’s statements and the debate over Planned Parenthood, which was reignited in July when anti-abortion activists released undercover video they said showed the group’s personnel negotiating the sale of fetal organs.

Dear reportedly told a law enforcement officer “No more baby parts”, following his arrest November 27, according to the Associated Press.

The idea seems to be that Dear was correct both in his facts about Planned Parenthood’s activities and in his beliefs about the morality of abortion but incorrect in his violent response. “That environment breeds acts of violence”.

When asked if anti-Planned Parenthood rhetoric could possibly have precipitated Friday’s attack, Fiorina again ducked the question, dismissing such concerns as a “left-wing tactic”. “Murder charges will be more than adequate on the local level”.

Planned Parenthood has remained in the news since the videos were made public, with most Democratic politicians supporting the organisation and many Republican leaders assailing it.

“Planned Parenthood has no shame”.

There are some 700 Planned Parenthood centers around the country that provide health care for women and men.

Ke’Arre Stewart’s family says that they want justice.

Republicans will be understandably defensive about the possible repercussions of their politically motivated anti-Planned Parenthood hysteria, but the media should absolutely call them on it. Republicans should also answer to their refusal to support any serious legislative action addressing our uniquely American gun sickness.
