Downey Jr reprises his role as Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) in Civil War, while Favreau is now enjoying positive reviews for his live-action take on Disney classic The Jungle Book.

‘And she just naturally gravitated towards [it],’ he boasted. In a rare moment of seriousness, he replied, “I don’t take myself too seriously”.

Robert Downey Jr. has traded in his Iron Man costume for a very different kind of outfit in a video released today. “She is something else”. Downey has reportedly made numerous appearances at Make-A-Wish Foundation events, sometimes in character, visiting children while they undergo treatment for serious illnesses.

Kimmel also asked him about the upcoming Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland, which Sony just announced would be called Spider-Man: Homecoming, but he said he’s not sure if he will be involved, saying “there’s no contract yet”. “I love Captain America, I hate to say it, I’m not supposed to say it. I love Chris, I love Captain America, before the premiere he’s all nervous”.

After making headlines for substance abuse and legal troubles, Robert has been happily married to wife Susan for eleven years this August.

During a playful quiz on the show, it was revealed that bands Duran Duran and Steely Dan both played live at the private party for family and friends. If the Civil War event in Marvel Comics is any indication, Captain America: Civil War will be a massive event for Marvel’s TV and film empire, the repercussions of which will likely show up in other properties.
