The New Orleans Saints signed cornerback Brandon Browner in part for his experience playing on the last two Super Bowl winners.
“Thank you for your contribution to this championship team and great service to our franchise”, the typewritten letter said. Browner shared a photo of the ring and the note on Instagram.
“I’m truly sorry that you left us – you were one of my favorites in the locker room!”
Browner and Darrelle Revis spent just one season in New England, leaving the Patriots to scramble for cornerback help in the offseason.
