Robert Mugabe Says He’s Prepared To Ask Obama To Marry Him

Zimbabwe’s notoriously homophobic President Robert Mugabe has ‘joked’ that he might marry Barack Obama after same-sex marriage became law across the U.S.

Mugabe, who is known for his brutal crusades against homosexuality, was responding in freaky fashion to the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling that the Fourteenth Amendment to the US Constitution guarantees gays and lesbians the same right to marry as heterosexuals.

He also claimed that Washington was being controlled by “perverted Satan-worshippers who insult the great American nation”, according to Nigerian new website Naij.com. The Zimbabwean dictator, who strongly opposes homosexuality, has made countless controversial remarks against the LGBT community in the past.

Homosexuality is barred in Zimbabwe and Mugabe has criticized Obama for encouraging gay rights on the African continent.

Ahead of his re-election campaign last year he urged for the heads of gay men to be chopped off and said gay people were worse than “pigs, goats and birds”. The act [homosexuality] is not humane.

He said he would travel to the White House and will get down on one knee and propose United States President Obama. “There is no excuse and we won’t listen to them”. “We ask, was he born out of homosexuality?” Mugabe expressed his anger by going on say that if such is the case then he is first going to propose Obama to marry him.
