Roberto Firmino wants to be Liverpool’s Neymar
I’m not that insane and I know there are times when you have to stop. “I could not have been happier”, Firmino said this week. He is a great person. I played as a full-back and then I moved into the centre.

With a manager he counts among his friends and potential oozing from his play as of late, Liverpool fans can look forward to seeing what else their very own Brazilian talisman can produce for the club.
You mentioned Ronald Koeman who went to Everton, our big rivals across the park, what are the differences between him and Jurgen Klopp?
“The fascinating thing for me is that I don’t really know what would represent success for Klopp”.
“Can he make me the Neymar of Liverpool?”.
But this is not the case under Klopp, with Firmino continuing to explain that it is his work ethic that has earned him key status. “Everyone played very well, we did what the manager asked us to do”.
“That is the way it is for him and that is the way I like to play. You always have to be in motion”, he added.
“I was a little bit surprised when he came back to England but he is a great player”.
“When I knew of Liverpool’s interest, I watched a lot of videos to see what I could expected”, said Firmino, via a brilliant interview with Dom King of Daily Mail. “I had four-and-a-half years there and I learned you have to be on the go under him”. When I thought what I had to do in the transfer window, I always heard about: ‘We have to sign this striker or this kind of striker.’ It’s really hard out there to find better strikers who are available.
Firmino has been outstanding for the Reds so far this season and he will spearhead their attack in Friday Night Football’s mouthwatering clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Mane has made an instant impact on the Merseyside club after scoring two goals in his first three Premier League appearances as a Liverpool player.

He will be hoping to add to this against Chelsea on Friday, and in his quest to become “the Neymar of Liverpool”, this is an expectation he must meet.
