Roberto Martinez won’t accept Everton’s draw at Chelsea
The 27-year-old Brazil-born Spain worldwide reported for treatment at Chelsea’s Surrey training base on Sunday, despite the squad being given two days’ off by interim boss Guus Hiddink.

Nobody at Chelsea has been as good defensively as in previous -seasons but Terry is one of the few old-fashioned leaders left in the Stamford Bridge dressing room. “If I say what I’m saying now, spontaneously out of my heart, then you can imagine what I think”, he said.
“I have never been quick all my career”. But physically I’m feeling as good as I’ve ever felt for the last 2-3 years.
“I’m still in the right state of mind, I’m still hungry, and I want to be here”, he added.
Fortunately, even though Jose Mourinho, the man who helped resurrect JT’s career when it looked all but dead in 2013, has gone, both new man in charge Hiddink and Terry himself are pushing for a new contract extension.
Centre-half Terry, who turned 35 last month, still has the same hunger for the game he did as a young rookie coming through the Blues ranks. It was offside. So for me it was a performance that shows how far we’ve come.
Martinez refused to accept Everton’s draw after Terry’s controversial equaliser.
Martinez was frustrated his side’s strong showing went unrewarded as Everton were denied a first league win at Chelsea in 21 years. Going 2-0 down was a tremendous setback. I don’t think it will be a bad injury. Oscar touched the ball and John was offside but he scored a handsome goal.
He was involved in a couple of minor rows with Everton players after Chelsea fell 2-0 behind but he launched his side’s fightback after a determined run which ended in him beating Howard and rolling the ball home.
“There was seven minutes extra time – I said, “ref, okay, they are celebrating at least one minute in the corner”, Hiddink told Match of the Day.
Costa immediately went to hospital for a scan on a shin injury. Then we had a panicky five or six minute spell where we conceded two goals. “I’m very proud of my players in the way they came back”.
The reining Premier League champions find themselves languishing 14th in the table, just six points above the relegation zone after 22 games.
“It was a victory that has been taken away from us”.

“To keep that little momentum, ideally we needed three points, we’re not happy where we are in the league, we need to start winning games but every game’s tough and every opposition seems to be stepping up their game”.
