“‘Blurred Lines’ was created from the heart and minds of Pharrell, Robin and T.I. and not taken from anyone or anywhere else”.

Thicke was drunk and high on Vicodin when he did an interview with Oprah in 2013, according to a videotaped examination published exclusively on Saturday by The Hollywood Reporter. Having sensationally split with his partner of a gazillion years for a model 18 years younger, it has now been revealed that the pop douche performed every media interview “high and drunk” for a year.
Robin Thicke’s interviews are apparently all a blur.
“When I give interviews, I tell whatever I want to say to help sell records”, Thicke said. This figure was later reduced by a judge to $5.4 million.
When lawyer Richard Busch asked him if he considered himself an honest person, the 38-year-old answered: “No”.
During the trial, the jury watched Williams’ 14-minute deposition video. In it, he expressed feeling “uncomfortable” multiple times when being forced to answer questions regarding his contributions to the song, as well as past comments he made about using “bluegrass chords” and “pentatonic harmonies”.
When asked about his ability to read music notes, Williams said he was “not comfortable”, telling the attorney “I am not here to teach you music”.

Pharrell, for instance, is shown as lacking in the musical theory department, while admitting that, though he never set out to steal from Gaye, in retrospect, he understood that he did. He separated from his wife Paula Patton, whom he first started dating at the age of 16, and also faced a lawsuit from the estate of Marvin Gaye concering the authorship of his hit “Blurred Lines” (which he eventually lost). “And neither would Pharrell”.
