Per the source, Kanu has all but completed his move and all that remains is for the Baggies to officially confirm the transfer.

Having starred in Wales’ fairy tale run to the Euro 2016 semi-finals, Robson-Kanu is already looking forward to testing himself on the big stage of the Premier League.

The Baggies are pushing ahead with a deal for Robson Kanu after the 27-year-old was granted permission to leave the Wales squad.

Chelsea, who had earlier seen a reported £35m offer for the 29-year-old turned down, confirmed on Wednesday evening that they had agreed terms with PSG. “I’m a fit lad and I’ll be more than confident when called upon”.

Speaking to the club’s official website, manager Tony Pulis said: “Everybody enjoyed watching Hal’s contribution to the Welsh performances at the Euros and we’re pleased to have him on board”.

“It was an important decision for me and my family and we took our time”, said Robson-Kanu.

Nyom made 32 Premier League appearances for Watford last season after joining from Granada but is being allowed to leave by boss Walter Mazzarri, who arrived in the summer. “I am grateful for everything that Reading have done for me and I enjoyed my time there.” .

Rickie Lambert and Cristian Gamboa have left the club permanently while Sebastien Pocognoli has gone on loan to Brighton.
