Rocket League’s Second Paid DLC Details Announced, Map Variation Coming Soon
Whether or not you decide to purchase this new DLC pack, every Rocket League player will get some new content courtesy of a free update coming to the game in a simultaneous release. The expansion will feature a pair of new cars, Scarab and Zippy, taken from Rocket League’s predecessor, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, which was released for the PlayStation 3 back in the mists of 2008. Also included are new paint types, decals, rocket boosts, toppers, antennas, wheels, trophies and achievements.

Rocket League is one of the most critically-acclaimed games of the summer, boasting a community that is already more than 6 million players strong. Anyone that owns the game will be able to download two new stadium variations for free: Utopia Coliseum at dusk and Urban Station at night.
Revenge of the Battle Cars is on its way to Rocket League. For more than a decade, the studio has been a driving force behind some of the most successful games in the industry, including Gears of War, Mass Effect 3, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, Bulletstorm, Unreal Tournament III, Unreal Tournament 2004, Nosgoth, and the recently-released futuristic Sports-Action hit, Rocket League. The rules are pretty simple, there are no rules- adding the touch of a auto demolition derby where players will have to knock other vehicles to the side in order to roll the ball towards their opponent’s goal line. It is now available for PS4, PC and Mac and costs $19.99 in the Steam store. It includes two new cars and a number of items – but will it be worth buying?
