Rocket League Supersonic Fury DLC Unveiled, Video Release

Vehicle sports game Rocket League is “absolutely, 100 percent” coming to additional platforms, as reported by developer Psyonix.

Speaking to GameZone, Dunham stated that, “We’re now in a position that we can expand our team”.

Given that the game is only available on PS4 and PC, this is a safe bet that Psyonix are now in discussions with Microsoft on bringing the game to Xbox One at some point this year.

“The number one reason we’re only on PlayStation and PC is because the team is small”, he added. “If the game can work on the platform and we can responsibly get that game working on a platform, we will never say never to any of the platforms that are current-gen”. Now, Psyonix has confirmed it is looking to release the game on different platforms.

Rocket League recently launched its first downloadable content (DLC) titled “Supersonic Fury“, which contains two cars (American and Japanese), two sets of boosts and wheels, and five new types of paints. The team fluctuated between eight and 12 members for most of Rocket League’s development, he added. Rocket League may be on its way to other platforms if developer Psyonix has its way. The new “Utopia Coliseum” gameplay arena, more than 70 new Country Flags, numerous other customization items, and the new single, “Firework” from critically-acclaimed electronica group, Hollywood Principle, will also make it to the update.
