Rockstar Editor for GTA V and GTA Online releases next month for Xbox One and Playstation 4 which will bring in new features to all three platforms – PC included.

The September update also adds features new for the game’s PC version. Houser added that the main reason Rockstar Games did not go with at least one female lead for “Grand Theft Auto 5“, was because the character did not fit in with what they were trying to accomplish for the title. It was unclear as to when that might be, but thanks to a new post from Rockstar, it has been revealed that the Rockstar Editor will be arriving onto consoles in September.

In addition, there will also be updates to Director Mode – namely options for spawning water and air vehicles, freezing the time of day settings, and a big mini-map showing location blips.

Copy and Paste Marker Properties: Has been made easier to copy and paste audio settings from any marker to another marker within a video clip.

Updated story: Budding movie makers on consoles won’t have to wait much longer for GTA 5’s Rockstar Editor.

Are there any more features that you would like to see added to Rockstar Editor? The editor was released back in April 2015 and has since produced numerous in-game recorded viral videos that have spread in Youtube and other social media networks. According to Rockstar Games, plenty of additional changes are in store for later updates. Unfortunately, the last-gen consoles simply can’t run the editor due to hardware issues.
