Roethlisberger cleared to practice after concussion protocol
Roethlisberger said on his show he anticipates practicing when the Steelers (6-5) return to work on Wednesday, but under guidelines set by the league it’s more likely he and Shazier will be limited early in the week.

“We are blessed to be able to stand on a big platform and reach a lot of people”, Roethlisberger said. “I don’t see us changing at all really”.
All I know is this, I wouldn’t be surprised if Ben Roethlisberger, in the next day or so, comes out and says, “I’m askin’ ya’, what’s the guy’s name on first base?” “That’s why I said [on the radio] that I was ready to go”. “We will do what we always do – we will be diligent with our care and lean on the advice of our medical team”. Michael Vick subbed in for him and so has Landry Jones. It’s the old Wally Pipp Syndrome.
Maybe Roethlisberger did it because he knows he’s the starting quarterback, a Super Bowl-winning quarterback, and his job will never be in jeopardy as long as he’s in a Steelers’ uniform. Coffman has played for Cincinnati, Atlanta and Tennessee in his six-year career, and he has 14 career receptions with one touchdown.
“When you’re playing a team like that, if they’re matching (cornerback) Richard Sherman, then other guys not named Antonio Brown are going to have opportunities, and that’s what it’s about”, Tomlin said. Keenum tried to stand up, but fell back down again like he’d taken a left hook from Mike Tyson. They will want to take advantage of a leaky Colts secondary, but running back DeAngelo Williams has been too good for the Steelers to give him the ball only eight times. He probably has played with a concussion before. We just wanted to get the football there. I don’t believe in playing around with my head or my neck.
According also to the report, Carroll is optimistic that Graham will be ready in 2016 and said, “Absolutely, yes”.
Roethlisberger recently explained his thought process in an interview with a Pittsburgh radio station.
“I’m feeling good. To get a huge win against a very, very good football team”.

The field goal made it a two-point game, but the decision backfired when Wilson completed a third-and-9 pass to Doug Baldwin for an 80-yard touchdown on the next drive. Whether they are covering rear ends or what’s going on, I said, OK, I’ll take it tomorrow morning, which is this morning, got the same thing from the trainer, they said: ‘Ben, it’s fine. That’s all I know. “So I should be okay to play Sunday”. “I think we all need to be clear about it”. We may not score touchdowns every time, but we’re scoring every time we’re down there. When you are done, you want to be a father and a husband, be the best I can be. “That’s why on the sideline when I told the doctors what I was feeling and my symptoms, Dr. [Joseph] Maroon and the rest of the training staff – and Dr. Maroon, one of the best head neurologists in the world – said I didn’t have a concussion”. He said Tuesday that he didn’t, calling it a “traumatic ocular migraine” instead.
