Roger Moore in Octopussy
Sir Roger Moore, who famously played James Bond in 7 films (the most of any actor) is sounding off on why he feels their can not be a gay Bond or a female Bond. Moore spoke with the Daily Mailon Sunday and said the reasoning for his controversial comments is simple, “That wasn’t was Ian Flemming wrote”. But the good news is, now you can have your definitive say on the matter.

Talking to Sky News, Craig said that Bond could be black, a woman or gay.
The 80-year-old actress, who bowed out of the 007 films in last movie Skyfall, was nearly knocked over by a taxi while she was filming in London – leading to her shouting at the driver, The Times reports.
“We didn’t like to go over and interrupt Sir Roger while he was eating his lunch”.
‘It is not about being homophobic or, for that matter, racist – it is simply about being true to the character’.
This is not the first time the actor has expressed his opinions on casting. His predecessor, Pierce Brosnan, responded, “Sure, why not?” when asked about a gay Bond.
In the spring he said during an interview with PEOPLE that Bond should be played by an “English-English” actor instead of maybe Cuba Gooding Jr. or Idris Elba.
The Grammy-winning singer recently admitted Daniel Craig wasn’t his “favourite” 007 after watching the other movies and actually preferred Sean Connery and Roger Moore as Bond.

Craig has indicated he would like to retire from the role after this year’s Spectre hits cinemas, calling the character a “misogynist”.
