It’s exciting to revisit the Star Wars universe from an entirely new perspective after the very traditional The Force Awakens previous year. “It got embodied in this place we called Jedha”, he noted, revealing a new location.
The movie is set before the time of the first 1977 Star Wars film, A New Hope, when the Death Star was being built and Darth Vader was the Emperor’s ruthless enforcer.

It was also recently revealed that Rogue One will finish a mere ten minutes before the 1977 original A New Hope begins, making the two films ideal double-bill fodder. Also making an appearance will be the Sith Lord himself Darth Vader.

Debuting during the Olympics during NBC’s primetime Rio 2016 coverage, the two-minute long ad follows on from the teaser trailer released earlier this year.
