The Rolling Stones singer and his 29-year-old girlfriend, Melanie Hamrick, are having a baby.

So, “Grandpa Mick’s” eighth child will likely be born somewhere in America.

The source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “He was shocked beyond belief at news she was expecting but will do whatever it takes to support Melanie and the child”.

The news of the impending addition to the family comes two months after Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood became the father of twin girls at 68.

According to an unnamed source, the United Kingdom tabloid The Sun reported that Melanie is 3 months pregnant, and that Mick is “incredibly supportive”, though he wants to keep their current informal arrangement.

Virginia native Hamrick is a member of the American Ballet Theatre’s corps de ballet and was previously engaged to Cuban classical dancer Jose Manuel Carreno. And former co-founding bassist Bill Wyman memorably married 18-year-old Mandy Smith in 1989 when he was 52, after the couple had been dating since she was 13.

He later welcomed another son with model and TV host Luciana Gimenez, named Lucas. Next up was Jade Jagger, 44, he had with ex-wife Bianca Jagger.

Jagger has four children with his ex-partner Jerry Hall: Elizabeth, 32; James, 30; Georgia, 24; and Gabriel, 19.
