Romance Is Dead, Kermit The Frog And Miss Piggy Have Broken Up
As the public grieved over celebrity breakups like Ben and Jen, and Gwen and Gavin, nothing broke a heart like Kermit and Miss Piggy.

“There’s no part of me whatsoever that did not want to wait”, Prady said.
Their separation happened some time ago said Kermit.
She added “our personal lives are now distinct and separate, and we will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al”.
Regarding Kermit and Miss Piggy’s recent split, NPR says that it has been announced that this change up in the Muppets relationship with one another is simply just one of the new things about the Muppets that fans of the franchise can expect in the new show.
In a joint statement posted online, Miss Piggy and Kermit said they will not be involved romantically but will continue to work together on television and other projects, according to Reuters.
“We can be professionals”.
Kermit will be an executive producer on Miss Piggy’s talk show which will have guests such as Reese Witherspoon. “That’s a bad joke, actually”. You’re with someone for years and you suddenly discover that you sort of have gone in two different directions. The announcement was made before the start of their new show, “The Muppets” on ABC.
“It’s the curly tail”, the famed amphibian told ET on Wednesday, August 5. And when you’re a frog and a pig…those directions can be extreme.
The two have been a couple for nearly 40 years, since the “Muppet Show” in the 1970s. In an exclusive interview with Canadian Living, Miss Piggy revealed that they never really tied the knot because the priest had been defrocked.
In the 1970s variety TV series The Muppets, Kermit would oversee the theatrical troupe of wayward characters as Miss Piggy vied, often with karate chops, for the spotlight.
