The daily commute for gamers may get a little bit less boring with the classic Rome: Total War coming to iPad, allowing players to cry ‘Havoc!’, and let slip the dogs of war from the comfort of their iPads. On the large strategic scale, players spend each turn managing diplomacy, developing infrastructure, moving armies, and managing the population’s growth and public order through taxes and gladiatorial games, among other tasks.
It has been stated that this version of Rome: Total War will not cut any corners. Check out the iPad version’s announcement trailer for yourself below.

It’ll evidently be a port of the full game, with the entire campaign and 11 factions, coupled with a touch-screen interface, and “upgraded” visuals that might be even better than the original release. A release date is still unknown at this point, but the game will run on first generation iPad Air and second generation iPad minis, along with any models that were released after.
