Cristiano Ronaldo became the first player to score 10 goals or more in the group stage of the Champions League, claiming four as Real Madrid routed Malmo 8-0 on Tuesday.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo talks Champions League records, legendary managers and his plans for the future. “But that is not 100% guaranteed”.

“Everything is open, all leagues”, Ronaldo said. Ronaldo also played down rumours of a rift with Benitez and said that he was happy at the club.

“It’s not been just personal issues, also physical ones, but I won’t use them as excuses [for my form]”, he told ESPN. If I were 75 percent certain, I would say so, it wouldn’t be a problem. “But I have no idea”, Ronaldo added.

And the winger, who insisted that it would be extremely tough for him to play for Barcelona or to feature in the Premier League other than for the Red Devils, however, refused to rule out those scenarios.

“It’s always different. Not just those two coaches but all the coaches”, Ronaldo said.

He reiterated that he has an existing contract with Madrid, and that he will stay with the team. But Real Madrid have helped me greatly since I arrived. But I feel comfortable because most of the time I play my position, so for me it is not going to be a big deal.

Madrid have now won five consecutive games since being embarrassed 4-0 at home by eternal rivals Barcelona last month, but numerous home fans still booed Benitez at the Santiago Bernabeu. “I have always said that I am not defensive and this demonstrates it”.

“There were some setbacks in the beginning but now I’m more confident”. “It’s part of my job”, he continued. I think he is doing things the right way.

Elsewhere, Sevilla will be chasing their third straight Europa League title after Fernando Llorente scored against his former club Juventus to secure a 1-0 win for the Spanish side in Group D.
