Ronaldo believes Madrid can retain Champions League
Ronaldo is primed to win his fourth Ballon d’Or title in 2016 after leading Real to 2015/16 Uefa Champions League title. Then again, Ronaldo has never won a World Cup, but Xavi won it in 2010.

2016 has been a successful year for Ronaldo as he won the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Euro 2016 with his club and country respectively.
Real Madrid does not give up many points in the group phase of the Champions League and is confident that they will start their campaign with important wins.
“We have players who are very good at heading, but what I value is the victory, more so with players that aren’t starters”.
He has averaged over 50 goals a year for Madrid over the last six seasons and is likely keen to keep that stat going as he enters the twilight years of his career. “I want to say I am sorry for what I said (after the Leganes draw) because I shouldn’t have said it in public”.
Cristiano Ronaldo caught the eye on Saturday as he returned to action for Real Madrid against Osasuna, although his post-match antics were just as striking, as he was snapped donning a garish pink wing. “This is the biggest club in the world and it should have the best players”, Ronaldo said, reported Reuters.
“Today I did that [squad rotation], after the global break we had to think about the many games awaiting us”.
Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his contract extension desires to club president Florentino Perez.
Xavi brought an end to his Barcelona career last season and signed for Qatari side Al Sadd, something that did not escape Ronaldo’s attention in a withering response.
“I’m annoyed that it’s happened and I hope it can be fixed quickly”.
“He will play a great game against us and we will of course have to try to limit him”. What we want is to continue our good run and put everything in every game.

“Ronaldo is extraordinary, but compared to Messi, for me and for everyone who likes football, there can be no comparisons”.
