Ronda Rousey Endorses Bernie Sanders For President

“I don’t think politicians should be allowed to take money for their campaigns from outside interests”.

American mixed martial artist Ronda Rousey is throwing her support behind the presidential campaign of Vermont Sen.

“I voted for Roseanne last time”, Rousey admitted.

The fighter, who has a match on Saturday versus Holly Holm, noted that she was “so disenchanted” with the two-party system prompting her to cast her vote to comedian Roseanne Barr’s 2012 third-party bid.

“If they’re going to come out just to watch us work out I wanna be involved with them”. “Right when we landed she went and made history for women in Melbourne”, Rousey said. She often relied on getting the fight within clinch range, then use her judo throws to initiate her attack.

For all Rousey’s successes since joining the UFC where she boasts a 12-0 record, her past world championship and Olympic losses in Judo still haunts her. And most importantly, she doesn’t lose.

While Rousey is a female-empowerment role model, with her “Don’t be a D.N.B” (do nothing b**ch) quote gracing t-shirts and bumper stickers, she’s not backing Hillary Clinton. “I’m trying my best to deserve it. I really, really am, but sometimes you just get wrapped up in how awesome all of this is”, she said. She said she wouldn’t trust the guy running the country.

Rousey, meanwhile, defends her 135-pound strap against boxing import Holly Holm at the upcoming UFC 193 pay-per-view (PPV) event in Australia (full details here). “It’s probably not the best thing she does, she probably better at ground game, but again, she’s more experienced there”. Compared to Rousey, the New Mexico native is very reserved and her calm demeanour and boxing background as a world champion means she won’t be overawed. Rousey is just too balanced, too physical and hasn’t shown a single weakness that an opponent can expose.
