“I’m trying to take it all in and it’s insane”, Holm added. Aside from Rousey, Holly Holm has also risen as one of the bankable UFC stars with her $1 million net worth.
In one of the most shocking and historic upsets in sport history, Holm picked Rousey apart throughout the first round before flooring the “Rowdy” one with a vicious head kick early on in the second.
“I think a rematch makes sense for sure”, Holm said. “I wanted it to be something that I’d already ran through my mind and respond in a correct way”.
Rousey was not at the news conference after the fight, as she was taken for medical treatment following the knockout.
Well, it looks like most of Holm’s nearest and dearest all watched her fight together at a local spot in Albuquerque, and they erupted in celebration following her victory over Rousey.
Ronda Rousey lost her UFC title after Holly Holm surprised her and knocked her out at UFC 193. She had appeared arrogant and was openly disrespectful towards her opponent, which did not go unnoticed by MMA fans who took to Twitter and vented their thoughts about Rousey and the result of the fight.
“She was transported because she got knocked out and her lip was split open” UFC president Dana White told reporters.
White said he had planned for Rousey to next fight at UFC 200 in July.

Holm had Rousey staggering in the second round with a few crunching left hooks, before finishing her off with a left-foot kick that landed flush under the champion’s jaw. We will have to wait and see if Rousey wants to come back right away to rematch Holm. Every grab that she tried to get and clinch on the cage, and I just had help with everything. “Obviously she is completely bummed out and depressed, but that is it”.
