UFC star Ronda Rousey has revealed she considered taking her own life after losing her first UFC fight past year.

Speaking to American talk-show host Ellen de Generes today, Rousey revealed her devastation following the knock-out defeat. “No one gives a (expletive) about me anymore without this, ‘” Rousey told DeGeneres.

“I looked up and saw my man, Travis, was standing there”, said Ronda Rousey. “And I looked up at him, and I was like, ‘I need to have his babies, I need to stay alive, ‘” she said, this time with a laugh. He has two young sons from his previous marriage to Erin Browne. What do I do anymore?

The barrage of punches Holm landed in the first few seconds of the fight were so devastating, Rousey lost her depth perception, sense of space and memory.

“There are a lot of people out there that have thoughts like that and they are looking at you going, wow, if she could have thoughts like that, um so you just did a lot of good for a lot of people”, said Ellen. Rousey was transported to a local hospital afterward. I don’t think anyone has even attempted that before. I’ve gone through several of mine, but no one had ever seen me go through it. I don’t know if I would have made it without him.

“I do believe all the best things come from the worst things. Maybe that’s what I’m meant for”.
