Ronda Rousey has a message for fans on Instagram: ‘I’ll be back’
Holly Holm’s gameplan was so precise that in spite of Ronda foreseeing what’s coming, she had to bow down to the inevitable that ended her undefeated streak and her legendary run with the Bantamweight title.

Quinn Rooney/Getty Images Not only was Ronda Rousey “soundly beaten” in a UFC fight against Holly Holm, Donald Trump says the fighter is not a nice person.
The now-former women’s bantamweight champion predicted what would be her downfall during an interview on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last month.
In the aftermath of the night’s event, “The Preacher’s Daughter” was extremely emotional as expected, but Rousey was nowhere to be found. We will have to wait and see if Rousey wants to come back right away to rematch Holm. Rousey put a kibosh on any retirement rumors, but said that she’s fine and will return. The Sydney Morning Herald reports that UFC star Rousey is “bummed and depressed” following the crushing defeat – the first of Rousey’s career.
It will be interesting to see just what the UFC will do with Rousey getting beat.
“I’m voting for Bernie Sanders, because he doesn’t take any corporate money”, Rousey said.
Holm, with a 10-0 win-loss record entering the match, frolicked inside the cage as Rousey was being given medical attention behind the loud roar of the stunned crowd at the Etihad Stadium. Rousey is probably UFC’s greatest frontrunner, and rarely speaks about her opponents with the reverence that she afforded Holm. “There was lots of blood, sweat and tears, but it sure was worth it. I’m trying to take this in, but this is insane”.

While there is no official word on if Rousey still plans to return in July, UFC President Dana White has already expressed his intion of booking the immediate rematch. It changes a lot of things – Cyborg [Cris Justino] fight, a few other stuff we were working on. “This was one of those moments in fighting that makes it insane and exciting”.
