Ronda Rousey: I’m fine, don’t worry
American Holly Holm tamed the world’s most feared female prizefighter Ronda Rousey with a stunning knockout victory for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight title in Australia on Sunday.

However, at that stage she was targeting a fight with her long-time rival Cris “Cyborg” Justino, but the result on Saturday night changes everything and Dana White has since indicated that a rematch with Holly Holm is now the fight to make. “I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I’m fine”.
“She had me on the cage for a minute and obviously she was trying in for a take down right there… she had a lot of things she was trying so I’m just glad I put in the practice”, she added.
Holly Holm lands the kick that ended her fight with Ronda Rousey.
“We figured the pressure was coming”, Holm said after the belt was placed around her waist.
Rousey, who is closing in on $10 million annually, has been viewed as a menacing fighter and a beauty, a crossover star whose agent not surprisingly also represents Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. No one could, Rousey went on to say, her chin was too good.
After starting an aerobics class to keep herself in shape, Holly tells us that she “saw the [kickboxing] class, thought it looked pretty cool, so I thought I’d try it for one fight and see what it was like”.
Rousey, a former judo Olympian, was unbeaten through 12 UFC fights before she met Holm. She took Rousey down with more than 40 seconds left in the round, they exchanged knees in the clinch and Rousey was noticeably bleeding. The American Top Team fighter’s streak ended in her UFC debut on August 1, when she ran up against top contender Claudia Gadelha at UFC 190.
After Rousey suffered the humiliating loss, the Ohio State backup quarterback reiterated his love for the woman that he has spent so much time showing affection to.
Holm followed up with a few strikes before the referee stopped the fight, with Rousey looking considerably the worse for wear.

The question now is, does Ronda get an automatic shot at a re-match? From start to finish, the fight was hers, who either cast aside the charged bull of a champion or stuck her with knives in the neck when the opportunity presented itself.
