He said: “I met with [Rousey] backstage after and hung out with her for about 45 minutes and ya know, I’ll tell you this”.

MMA star Ronda Rousey made her return to the Octagon at UFC 207 for the first time since Holly Holm knocked her out and made her reevaluate her life choices. It stands to reason that Rousey’s change in fighting style follows a change in her training, a change that seems to have played a part in the potential fall of her career. However, sometimes – even when you prepare and give everything you have and want something so badly – it doesn’t work how you planned. I think she stays there because it’s like when someone pitches a no-hitter wearing red underwear then they wear that underwear every day.

“I said you’re smart and handsome – let the stupid people get punched in the face”. While no drug use has been substantiated, her mother had previously spoken to the media about Rousey’s previous depression & drug abuse.

“Nunes blamed Tarverdyan for Rousey’s loss, saying in an after-fight presscon, “…she thinks she’s a boxer. He is often seen on-stage with Rousey at pre-fight weigh-ins.

Edmond Tarverdyan, Rouseys coach, was widely criticized for his uneven, unusual coaching methods even before Rouseys career faltered.

TMZ Sports asked Rousey’s mother if she would like to see her daughter retire.

“She’s in a great place”, he said. She believes her opponent was over pressured from the stress accumulated from her first loss, her acting career and a number of outside-the-cage responsibilities.

It makes sense. In a way, Ronda didn’t have as far to fall this time around, making the defeat easier to take.

My money would be on Mariah, her huge butt has major-league buoyancy and it would be hard, if not impossible, to drown her.

“She cares DEEPLY about winning to an extent that I don’t believe the average person can wrap his/her head around”, De Mars wrote.

“That’s it for her”, Nunes told reporters post-fight. “She wasn’t able to move her head, do anything defensively to avoid the striking skills of Amanda Nunes, and really paid for it (via BloodyElbow)”.

James added, “You don’t know her mindset”.

“It was hard for us to go through but we certainly rebounded and came back with a new game-plan”.
