Ronda Rousey still going to Marine Corps Ball, despite UFC 193 loss
She said that had Haschert from Somerdale not asked her she’d probably be staying “on my couch crying and eating ice cream for another month, so it’s probably a good thing”.

Rousey is recovering from a knockout loss to Holly Holm in UFC 193 last month in Australia, as a rematch between the two is tentatively set for UFC 200 in July 2016.
Jarrod Haschert asked Rousey to the ball in the summer, and she accepted on the condition that he find dates for her friends.
“After the fight, she never hesitated for a second whether or not she was going to attend”, a source close to Rousey told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne.
Haschert’s video of the proposal has nearly 5.5 million views.
“I love everything that you do and I think you are a phenomenal person”, said the rosy-faced, North Carolina-based Marine. But Rousey seemed to take some liberties against Holm and made the peculiar decision to try and fight upright against the former boxer. That’s because Rousey recently caught up with TMZ cameras and she noted that she will be honoring her commitment. The champ refused to disparage Ronda Rousey (12-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) despite several easy opportunities to do so. She added that the past month has been the “worst ever” for her.

Holm, 34, said she would be ready for Rousey if the time came. Rousey had run through every potential contender in the bantamweight division, and he was running out of fighters to match up against the most dominant fighter in the UFC.
