It added that Rousey was the aggressive fighter during the beginning of the game “looking for the right hold and taking head shots along the way”.

Due to Holly Holm’s boxing background and Rousey’s stardom the fight had garnered a lot of interest from outside of MMA, and former British heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis offered his critique of the former champ while also giving a few words of comfort. “So I expected her to be aggressive and impose her will on me”, Holm said.

‘I don’t understand why you would decide to be a #DNB when you’re getting kicked in the head, ‘ she posted on Twitter after the fight.

Rousey was taken to hospital after the fight where she was seen by a plastic surgeon regarding the horrific facial injuries she suffered, but after staying overnight it was confirmed that she had not suffered a concussion or any other serious injuries other than a nasty gash to her lip.

Last month, Rousey, in a deep plunging black dress, sat down with host Jimmy Fallon and talked about her upcoming fight with Holm, which happened last Saturday.

The boxer took to Instagram to thank everyone for their love and explain that she is doing well after she was hospitalized after her fight with Holly Holm. “I’ve been on the losing side of a fight, and I wanted the rematch – I wanted to avenge my loss”.

“I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I’m fine”. “That was a great test for her, and look at how she came back, she came back a multi-time world champion”. “I think a rematch makes sense for sure”, said the new UFC bantamweight champion.

UFC President Dana White said in a TMZ report that there will certainly be a rematch between the two fighters.
