Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm Rematch Confirmed By Dana White
But while UFC 200 would be a spectacular choice, there is yet no date or location for a Holm-Rousey rematch.

Round two after TKO.
When Holly Holm defeated Ronda Rousey for what could only be described as one of the biggest upsets in UFC history, the rumors quickly churned out speculations on a potential rematch.
“I think that if we didn’t make the rematch, me and Lorenzo [Fertitta, UFC CEO] should probably lose our promoter’s license”, said UFC president Dana White in an interview with ESPN Radio on Thursday.
However, Rousey will get the opportunity to reclaim her UFC women’s bantamweight crown because it is the only fight that makes sense. “I’ve been on a losing side of a fight and I wanted the rematch; I wanted to avenge my loss”.
He explained why a rematch was of importance to the league. Not exactly. There’s no question that Rousey faced an endless stream of questions about her personal life in the weeks leading up to the fight, but she never used that as an excuse for her loss. “We’ll figure it out”, White said.
White later told SportsCenter the rematch will happen in 2016, just as soon as he can establish a timeline for Rousey’s return.
Holm (10-0) made short work of the previously undefeated Rousey (12-1) at UFC 193.
While he has managed to dodge the bullet despite continuous criticism, the undefeated American boxer weighs in on the plight of Ronda Rousey, per Bleacher Report.
Right now, Rousey is out of the UFC scene as she fulfills her film obligations for a couple of films – Mile 22 and Roadhouse. After Rousey’s loss, UFC placed her on a six-month medical suspension.
‘It will be a long road back for Ronda, I think she needs to get a lot of gym time in and really focus on her boxing skills because she’s really missing in that area. It looked like she’s doing better than what most fans imagined after receiving hard punches and a one-kick knockout from Holm.

White says that Rousey deserves an opportunity to reclaim her title against Holm, and I tend to agree with that. Since her debut back in 2011, “Rowdy” has literally dominated her division, steamrolling over anyone she faces. So while White’s promising a rematch, the details remain murky as ever.
