Ronda Rousey won’t return until August at the earliest after confirmation she
Rousey has shown up in Furious 7 as a villain and had a small role in Warner Bros.’ Entourage, not to mention a part in The Expendables 3, but this is by far her biggest job to date.

Rousey is busy fulfilling her film commitments, one reason why she asked for more time and begged off from UFC 200. I’m just like, ‘Listen, just because my body was developed for a goal other than f****** millionaires doesn’t mean it’s masculine.’ I think it’s femininely badass as f***, because there’s not a single muscle on my body that isn’t for a objective.
Then UFC President Dana White revealed that the concept behind the phrase was now being used as the inspiration for a movie, and sure enough that’s now proven to be true. She is plenty busy though waiting for the rematch: She’s starring in MGM’s Road House redo, directed by Nick Cassavetes, in the spring, and her biopic My Fight/Your Fight is in development at Paramount with Mark Bomback on board to write.
It was thought that she would return at July’s UFC 200, but it was recently reported that she would need more time off, although it’s still thought that she will return at some point. The former undefeated champion, who picked up the first loss of her MMA career in the Melbourne showcase in November, is committed to her next film Roadhouse for the first half of 2016. “She could do both, but the question is, should she do both?” However, everyone expected Rousey to be back and to push for a shot at reclaiming her title. She could do both, but why should she? “She’s been fighting, promoting and building the sport. So we were holding it for her if she wanted to do it”.
