Ronnie Wood ‘Thrilled’ At Wife’s Pregnancy

Ronnie Wood is set to become a dad again after it was confirmed Sally Humphreys is expecting twins.

A spokesperson for the band said: “Sally and Ronnie Wood are delighted to announce that they are expecting twins in June 2016”.

“He can’t wait to be a dad again, and doesn’t think his age is a problem at all”.

A spokesman said: “They are thrilled and overjoyed with the news”.

They first met almost a decade earlier at the Theatre Royal in Drury Lane, where Sally was working and Wood was displaying his artwork. The twins will be his first with Humphries, who he married in 2012.

Ronnie (who is 78) and Sally (who is 37) Wednesday in December 2012 after dating for less than a year. Obviously we’ve spoken about it quite a lot, and you can ask him and his response would be, “Well, that would be nice”.

In addition to four children, Wood has nine grandchildren.

He is also father to daughter Leah and adopted sons Tyrone and Jamie, whom he welcomed during his marriage to Jo Wood (the pair divorced in 2011).

The performer has a girl Leah and child Tyrone from his second marriage to Jo.

Since leaving Jo, Ronnie has had a string of high profile romances with younger women, including a 19-year-old Russian cocktail waitress.

Sally – who has never taken drugs and barely drinks – has been credited as a sobering influence on the wild guitar icon.
