Rory McIlroy not convinced by Man Utd FC manager Louis van Gaal
As a result, there have been a lot of reservations regarding van Gaal in recent times and now celebrity Manchester United fan Rory McIlroy has also questioned whether the Dutchman is the right man to lead the Red Devils.

While he kept three clean sheets in his opening three league games, a poor performance against Swansea City that saw him culpable for the opposition’s winning goal cast doubt on whether he will hold on to his first team role.
“Playing for United is a dream and if God helps me this dream will never end As I have been saying, I have to thank Van Gaal for trusting me“.
“I think the new signings will be good in time, but I’m not convinced LVG is the right man to lead us”, he said when speaking to Sky Sports at the Deutsche Bank Championship.
“It is very important for a goalkeeper to feel the support of the coach”.
Louis van Gaal has been ciriticised for his transfer policy, in particular the hefty fee paid for Anthony Martial. Either way, Louis van Gaal supposedly had no option but to part ways with his often injury-prone front-man this term, especially as the Red Devils are now aiming forward with a much more youthful look about them.
With Liverpool due to visit Old Trafford on Saturday, it could give van Gaal the flawless opportunity to prove his critics wrong and really kick-start United’s season.
After missing out on Pedro, who chose rival Chelsea, it makes flawless sense that Van Gaal is continuing to search for more talented midfielders.

The 24-year-old’s contract expires next summer, meaning Real Madrid can sign the keeper for a free in a year’s time, possibly meaning Romero could still become United’s permanent first choice at some point in the future.
